Problem vs. Solution: Healthcare Patient Intake

The Problem

Traditional paper-based patient intake is slow, prone to data entry errors, and creates administrative bottlenecks. Patients often find long, complex medical forms overwhelming, leading to incomplete data and increased wait times at the point of care.

The Solution

I designed a dual-platform ecosystem in Figma that digitizes the entire onboarding process:

• For Patients: A mobile-first, multi-step form that breaks down complex medical aid and insurance data into digestible "micro-tasks" to prevent form fatigue.

• For Providers: A desktop dashboard that centralizes incoming data, allowing staff to verify "Gap Cover" and dependent details instantly, reducing manual entry by [X]%.

• The Result: A secure, accessible, and error-resistant flow that ensures data integrity from the first click to the final doctor's review.
